May I proudly re-introduce our manufacturing company MAE. EITEL. located in Orwigsburg, PA. Our core business is in the design and manufacturing of straightening machinery and material handling systems for the automotive and railroad industries. We also work in the agricultural, metal, food and energy sectors as well. The origin of our company dates back to 1931 in Germany. In 1973 as Eitel Presses we established our facility in the Deer Lake industrial park.
In 2014, we merged with MAE, one of the other leading straightening providers, which now makes us the leader in the global straightening press market. Approaching challenges with a positive mindset and can-do attitude, we thrive when working outside our comfort zone and investigating new technologies and avenues that lead to success; we enjoy learning new skill sets and developing new business opportunities. Since 2018, we have invested heavily in our Machine Shop to better control the lead time, quality, and pricing of our machines, spare parts, and contract manufacturing services.
When asked about our biggest passion, it is our commitment to continue to grow manufacturing in the United States and provide people in Schuylkill County with rewarding job opportunities. Since January 2019, we have made a focused effort in re-establishing our relationship with the local community in the beautiful County where we reside, through partnerships with NEPA MAEA’s YES program, Co-op Program with Penn State Schuylkill, or RACC.
